Wow!! Where did the time go? Christmas and New Year have come and gone in a flash and what amazing time on Katzenellenbogen we had!
There were so many magic moments, the first being the arrival of Mac, his family and Pierre, 2 days before Christmas. We were anchored in Great Harbour, St John and were expecting his arrival but nothing could explain the feeling when we heard his voice on the VHF radio and saw his tiny sails in the distance. After a bit of a 'detour' he finally arrived and Stephen took our dinghy out to meet him as he dropped his sails. The kiddies could no longer wait for the boat to anchor and they swam over to our boat as soon as they arrived. What an happy, emotional reunion it was! We had planned and schemed and dreamed about this moment for 10 years......Mac has sailed Moonbeam all the way from East London, and after a lot of sacrifice and hard times, finally we were together!
